Benedicte Fasmer

CEO Telenor

Fasmer is the Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Group. She assumed the position on December 1, 2024, after being appointed earlier the same year. Since January 2021, Fasmer served as Group CEO of SpareBank 1 SR-Bank. Previously, she has held several senior positions in the financial sector, including Executive Vice President at Fremtind Forsikring and Head of Corporate Markets at DNB Bank.

Fasmer also has extensive experience in capital markets, particularly within private equity and corporate finance, as well as from working in banks such as Citibank. She has held board positions, including Chair of Oslo Børs, member of the Supervisory Council of Norges Bank, and board member of Vipps.

With over three decades in the financial sector, Fasmer has acquired significant experience in digital innovation and transformation. At Telenor, she aims to strengthen the company’s position in telecommunications through technological development and customer-centric solutions.
